Attorney Joseph R. "Jay" Maiona, Jr. is the principal of Maiona Law, PLLC. He practices in the areas of business, corporate and real estate law and estate planning/asset protection. Although he is more than just a lawyer, with a background in finance and accounting, he partners with his business clients to assist them with all facets of their operations. In addition to the role of CLO (chief legal officer/general counsel), he can help owners, presidents and CEO's manage all aspects of their operations better.

His experience includes representing individuals, companies, entrepreneurs, lending institutions, borrowers, buyers and sellers in a variety of transactions, including start-up and formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, shareholder/member matters, technology licensing, residential and commercial real estate, lending, zoning, planning and land use development, and estate planning/asset protection. He focuses on transactional matters and assists his clients in conflict resolution and avoidance.

Attorney Maiona is licensed to practice before the state and federal courts in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts and a Juris Doctorate from Massachusetts School of Law in Andover, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association (Corporate and Real Property Sections) and the Massachusetts Bar Association. He is a founding member, current President and a Director of the Northeast Business Alliance, Inc.  He serves as a Board Director and Member of the Finance and Membership Committees for the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce Program. He also volunteers his time and serves as Chair of the Board, Chief Volunteer Officer (CVO) and Member of the Executive and Financial Development Committees, all for the YMCA of Greater Nashua. He represented the Northeast as a delegate to the YMCA-USA National Assembly.
